Weight Loss Treatments
What medications do you offer for weight loss?
MyDocUSA offers clinically backed treatments including Wegovy® (Semaglutide), Ozempic® (Semaglutide), Tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound), and Phentermine/L-Carnitine. Your provider will determine which option best fits your needs after your consultation.
How does Wegovy® work?
Wegovy® contains Semaglutide, which mimics a natural hormone that helps control appetite and food intake. It supports gradual, sustainable weight loss when combined with a healthy diet and lifestyle.
What is Ozempic® used for?
Ozempic® is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes but is often prescribed off-label for weight management. It helps regulate blood sugar levels and reduces appetite for consistent weight loss results.
What is the difference between Wegovy® and Ozempic®?
Both contain Semaglutide, but Wegovy® is FDA-approved for chronic weight management, while Ozempic® is approved for diabetes management. Your provider will help decide which option is right for you.
How is Tirzepatide different from Semaglutide?
Tirzepatide (the active ingredient in Zepbound® and Mounjaro®) works on two key hormones — GIP and GLP-1 — which can enhance weight-loss results compared to single-hormone medications like Semaglutide.
How does the Phentermine/L-Carnitine plan work?
Phentermine helps suppress appetite, while L-Carnitine supports fat metabolism and energy. Together, they help promote faster fat loss under medical supervision for just $99/month.
Medical & Safety
Who is eligible for weight-loss medications?
These medications are typically prescribed for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol. Eligibility is determined by your provider after medical evaluation.
Are these medications safe?
Like any treatment, there can be some side effects, but our tailored approach minimizes risks and prioritizes your safety.
What are the common side effects?
Most patients experience mild and temporary side effects such as nausea, constipation, or stomach discomfort. Your provider will review all possible side effects and provide guidance on managing them.
How long does it take to see results?
Most patients begin noticing weight loss within a few weeks of starting treatment. However, results vary based on medication, lifestyle, and adherence to the treatment plan.
